New Year! New You?

The new photo at right (badly cropped in Photoshop) was taken on December 26, at John's Pizzeria on 44th Street, NYC...an excellent suggestion from Carol at http://www.drinkatwork.com ... for a dinner prior to seeing "Spamalot," part of our family Christmas present. Let the record state that I carried that massive martini (Grey Goose, dry, with twist) up a flight of stairs without spilling (and celebrated this achivement by having another one with dinner). Alas, the holidays are pretty much over, though I am enjoying the Federal holiday while the girls are back at school. The calendar was not kind this year. Of course, being in a sales-related position for a living, the calendar is never kind on January 1, when the odometer resets to $0.00 ... may be time to pull out the Grey Goose to gird myself for this year's struggles...
