Election Punctuation

Forgot to mention this in the lead-up to the mid-term elections, but I found this in my driveway the Sunday before:

(thanks to The Philly Inquirer's blog for the photo.)

Yes, the smug, self-satisfied, Neanderthal mug of our soon-to-be-ex-Junior Senator, on a newspaper bag sponsored by the voter action arm of those AmmoFascists, the NRA.

Finally put the bag to good use today, as my canine pal Libby (now THERE's a mug for you, eh?) helped me make a political statement during our morning constitutional.

And the good news is, THIS Sunday's paper, post-election, also had a Santorum bag. Next time, Libby and I will have the foresight to turn the bag inside-out first, thus preserving the photo and NRA address on the outside, suitable for affixing a stamp and mailing.

How very appropriate. I recall a most enlightened discussion of the the word "santorum" on the Comics Curmudgeon forum a while back. It was the first thing I thought of when I heard the Pennsylvania election results.
